KOHIMA, DECEMBER 30 (MExN): In view of the upcoming Republic Day celebration, the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has informed all the shops and business establishments under KMC jurisdiction to paint and white wash the front side of the buildings and shops facing the road side before January 16 and also unfurl National Flags on top of their shops and buildings by 6AM on January 26, 2026. This was stated in a circular issued by KMC Chief Executive Officer Zapuno Sophie.
