Kohima, April 5 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) today notified to all the barber shops and public within the KMC jurisdiction that the rates of hair cutting/shaving/massage etc are revised as follows:
Previous rate Revised
1. Shaving (ordinary): Rs. 5/- Rs.10/-
2. Shaving (Special): Rs. 10/- Rs.15 /-
3. Massage (Head): Rs. 10/- Rs.15/-
4. Massage (Body): Rs. 15/- Rs.20/-
5. Hair Cutting (Adult): Rs. 15/- Rs.20/-
6. Hair Cutting
(Minor below 10 years): Rs. 10/- Rs 10/-
7. Hair cutting with hair dye: Rs. 45/- Rs. 60/-
8. Hair wash with shampoo: Rs. 15/- Rs. 20/-
9. Hair setting (electronics): Rs 15/- Rs. 20/-
Rules and regulations of Barber:
1. The tools should be soaked in spirit/medicines and kept sterilized before using.
2. After shave/cutting hair each tools should be kept sterilized.
3. The cloths used for cutting purpose should be kept clean.
4. Every barber should possess a medical fitness certificates& a mask for covering the mouth.
5. Every barber should compulsory wear Apron.
6. For every shave a new blade should be used.
Violation of this notification shall be dealt according to the rules of Kohima municipal council, added the notification issued by Administrator KMC, Alun Hangsing.
