KMC social work on Nov 12

Kohima, November 11 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council CEO has informed that the government departmental trucks detailed for the mass social work on 12 November at Kohima Town are requested to report to the following nodal authorities, Kovi Meyase, ADC Kohima, Elizabeth Ngully, CEO, KMC and Lhouvi Tsiekha, Advisor Sanitation, KMC at 6:00 AM at the DC office complex Kohima.
The government departments detailing their vehicles have also requested to send the names and contact numbers of the nodal officers to the nodal authorities for proper co-ordination and success of the mass social work. Further it informed that all the Tata mobile pick-ups of the 10 wards under the decentralized services are to utilize the vehicles for the social work in their respective wards.
Any clarification/information regarding the detailment of the vehicle for the social work are directed to contact 0370-2290355.
Meanwhile, it also informed the general public that in pursuance of deputy commissioner Kohima’s press release on October 29, whereby the area from TCP gate junction to Kitsubozou junction have been declared as No Parking Zone from 8 am-6pm with effect from 1 November thereby all vehicles whether government, private are to pay a parking fee of Rs. 10 per hour in the designated parking lots.
However, magistrates on duty, police on duty, ambulance, fire services, para military forces and essential services will be exempted from paying of the parking fee, it added.
Vehicles carrying essential goods for loading and unloading purposes are also directed to finish their business before 8.00 AM and after 6:00 PM only.
