KNK condemns Niuland assault

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 2 (MExN): The Kulolau Ngozilbomi Kiighakulu (KNK) has condemned what it described as a recent physical attack on a resident of Ngozabomi village at a petrol pump in Niuland town and urged the authorities to take the strongest action as per law.

In a condemnation statement, the organisation said said the use of violence and brutality in the incident was deeply disturbing and highlighted the dangers faced by society.

The organisation said such acts of aggression cause not only physical harm but also fear and trauma among victims and the wider community. 

“It is essential that we stand together in condemning this behavior and promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and non-violence,” it said.

The organisation further appealed to the public to work towards preventing similar incidents in the future. “We call on everyone to promote a culture of peace, understanding, and respect, and to work together to prevent such incidents in the future,” the statement added.
