Folk tune presentation at the silver jubilee of KNSK, Kohima on April 30 in Kohima

The Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK), Kohima unit today celebrated its silver jubilee at AMK building, Kohima under the theme ‘Empowered women empower.’
Gracing the occasion, Nagaland’s Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Advisor Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire appreciated Konyak women organization of their unity and also for honoring all the women who had excel in different professions among Konyak women.
He stressed that it is time Nagas also should follow the good ways in our day to day life. Nagas we leave aside the good and learn only the bad things, it is time for us to change, he said.
Konyak Union Kohima president Angnyei Konyak said that to be a leader, “We have to sacrifice for the welfare of the people and shared on the three things in human life which are faith, trust and hope.” Rev Dr C Ellen Konyak Jamir, Associate Professor, OST, the theme speaker spoke on ‘women empowerment.’
