Kohima, June 17 (MExN): The Kohima District VDB Union (KDVDBU) along with officials of 7 RD block VDB Union (Jakhama, Zubza, Kohima, Chiephobozou, Botsa, Tseminyu and Chunlikha) under Kohima district held a meeting on June 14 at Zubza Block.
It resolved that as per the directive from Nagaland State VDB Association (NSVDBA) and due to COVID - 19 pandemic (2020-2021), the tenure of Kohima District VDB Union has been over due and the house resolved to re- organize KDVDBU team for the tenure 2022-2025.
It also resolved that till state government bifurcation of Kohima- Tseminyu Districts (DRDA), the KDVDBU will remain status quo.
The following members have been unanimously elected as new office bearers for the year 2022-2025.
President- Roko Angami (Chiephobozou Block), Vice president- Yaviu Zumu ( Botsa Block ) and Ruchuseng Kent (Tseminyu Block), general secretary Noumvüzolie Sachu (Kohima block), secretary-Kenneth Kath ( Chunlikha block), treasurer- Ketulekho (Jakhama block), information and publicity secretary-Viketuzo Meyase ( Zubza block) and Vi - u Belho (Kohima block ) and John Kath (Chunlikha block) as advisor.
