Winners of the state-level quiz competition held at TM Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima, on September 12.

KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 12 (MExN): Samagra Shiksha Nagaland conducted the State-Level Quiz Competition under the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA) at TM Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima, on September 12.
Shashank Pratap Singh (IAS), Principal Director, Department of School Education, highlighted the importance of learning beyond the classroom and urged students to remain curious and innovative, contributing to Nagaland’s role in Viksit Bharat 2047. State Mission Director L. Jamithung Lotha stressed the programme’s focus on motivating students in science, mathematics, and technology.
The event, chaired by Dr Chumbeni Kikon, saw experience-sharing by Iris Zomawii Lushai and Gihukali Sema, who represented Nagaland in Japan’s SAKURA Science Program. Dr Bijano Murry served as Quiz Master, with Avino Tase and Rüchünino Ziephrü as judges.
Students from all 17 districts participated. Winners are: 1st – Imtimenla (Govt High School Dilong, Mokokchung), 2nd – Subeno Ngullie (Govt HS Bhandari, Wokha), 3rd – Kedalu Rengma (Govt HS New Town, Tseminyu).
The programme concluded with encouragement for students to pursue knowledge, innovation, and excellence in science.
