Lhisemia Council officials during 66th Lhisemia Day at L. Khel, Kohima village on January 4.
Kohima, January 4 (MExN): The Lhisemia Council of Kohima village today observed 66th Lhisemia Day at Tsiera Hall, L Khel, Kohima village.
Speaking on the occasion as the guest of honour, Pheluopfhelie Kesiezie emphasised the need to elect an upright leader in a transparent and consensus manner. He also stressed on the need to properly channelized water supply facility in Kohima.
Lhisemia Council Chairman Ayie Yhome shared greetings. Zapuvizo Liezietsu, Vice Chairman, Lhisemia Council chaired the programme while Pastor Keduoneituo Yhome, Phezoucha Baptst Church invoked God’s blessings.
Dziesetuonuo Edith Dzüvichü presented a special number. The occasion also witnessed presentation of reports from Lhisemia Council general secretary, Lhisemia Council treasurer, LGOK, LMK, LYO, LSU and L. Khel VDB Member Secretary. Vote of thanks was proposed by Kezhalhoulie Tseikha. The programme concluded with community feast.
