Modern Higher Secondary School, Kohima held its freshers’ day on August 3.
Kohima, August 4 (MExN): Modern Higher Secondary School, Kohima held its freshers’ day with Ketousie Khamo Councillor KMC ward no.15 as the special guest and Keneisenuo Sorhie as the guest artiste on August 3.
Ketousie Khamo said, “Knowledge is the greatest power and is something which cannot be stolen away by anyone.” He motivated the students to keep learning so as to enlarge their values and knowledge, stated a press release.
MHSS Principal A Nenia Theresa gave the welcome address and speech on behalf of seniors and juniors were delivered by Katia and Yunis Siwa respectively. MHSS Managing Director, Pele Hekha in his address said that with hardship and determination everyone can achieve great heights in life.
Felicitation of NBSE HSSLC Topper 2024 was presented to Thejazenuo Angami Rank 9 in Commerce stream with a certificate and citation of cash reward. Special presentation of award was also given to the outstanding teachers and students with certificate and citation of cash reward.
Later, Thejasevor Meyase of 11 Commerce and Amnon of 11 Science were adjudged as Mr and Miss Fresher 2024. Mr and Miss Multimedia for 2024 were Victor K Lohe of 11 Arts and Miss Achungla Anar of 11 Commerce.
