Kohima, November 5 (MExN): The Kohima Police today issued a ‘Wanted’ notice seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male suspect involved in the foiled attempted armed robbery at the State Bank of India (SBI) Chedema Branch, Kohima, on October 31.
In the notice, the police identified the suspect as Vitoulu Domeh (35), from Zhavame village under Phek district, Nagaland.
Police have appealed to the public for information and assured that any inputs received will be treated with the “strictest confidentiality.”

According to police, the incident occurred at around 12:30 pm on October 31 when the accused allegedly entered the bank with a pistol and threatened the use of a body-worn explosive device while demanding cash.
On-duty security personnel intervened, recovered the looted amount and seized the pistol, although the suspect managed to flee before police arrived at the scene.
The North Police Station, Kohima, is currently investigating the case.
