Kohima police with the people who had their phones recovered.
Kohima, June 2 (MExN): Kohima Police has traced and returned 33 lost and stolen mobile phones worth approximately Rs 5.86 lakh to their rightful owners over the past one and a half months.
According to a press release issued by the PRO, Kohima Police, 12 recovered mobile phones valued at around Rs 2.14 lakh were handed over to their owners at North Police Station on June 1. This followed an earlier handover of 17 recovered mobile phones worth about Rs 3 lakh at South Police Station.
The police also informed that four additional mobile phones valued at approximately Rs 72,500 had been recovered and returned to their owners prior to these handovers.
With the latest returns, Kohima Police stated that a total of 33 lost and stolen mobile phones worth around Rs 5.86 lakh have been successfully traced and handed back to their rightful owners as part of its ongoing public service and community policing efforts.
