KSL-4 kicks off April 21; Kohima Town club invite clubs

Kohima, March 30 (MExN): The 4th edition of the Kohima Super League (KSL) 2021 is slated to kick off from April 21 at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima. The league will conclude on May 8.

In this connection, the Kohima Town Club has invited the interested football clubs to register for the   KSL 2021 on or before April 5.

According to the organiser, the slots are limited and available at Sports Paradise, Rüluo Market, Kezieke for a fee of Rs 10,000 for old teams and Rs 15,000 for new team.

The league aims to bring total football revolution in Nagaland by starting local level football league, and also foster the growth of football in the state, stated Kethozelie Liezietsu, Convenor, Organising Committee in a press release.

The champions of KSL-4 will walk away with a cash prize of Rs 1,50,000 while it is Rs 1,00,000 for the runner-up.

Other awards include player of the tournament, best fan club, best discipline club excluding the individual awards for the championship, the release said. 

So far, eight teams  - New Market FC, T Comrade FC, Puliebadze FC, Aphuyemi FC, FIFA FC, TA Jakhama, KVYO and the defending champion Vanguard FC, Tseminyu - have confirmed their participation.
