DIMAPUR, JUNE 1 (MExN): The Konyak Union Mon and Konyak Baptist Church Dimapur donated Rs 2 lakh (one lakh each) to the COVID 19 Hospital Dimapur.
The cash was handed over to the Medical Superintendent Dimapur, Dr Kheshito Sema on June 1at the Commissioner's Rest house Dimapur, in the presence of APC Nagaland, Khiketo Sema IAS and Secretary F&CS, Honje Konyak.
On behalf of Konyak Union Mon, Mosa Konyak acknowledged the self less services rendered by the frontline workers.
"At times we even become emotional, for we are all just sitting at home in our comfort zones when you all are working even without proper food and sleep risking your lives," Mosa acknowledged.
In a brief fellowship at the Commissioner's Rest house, Pastor, KBC Dimapur, Rev M Tonlong Konyak read the scripture and offered prayers.
President Konyak Students union Dimapur, C Wangwan Konyak and Deacon KBC Dimapur, Aowang Konyak were also present.
