Kudos to Higher & Technical Education & Tribal Affairs Minister

I Longkumer

The recent announcement of the Minister Temjen Imna Along (Higher & Technical Education and Tribal Affairs) wherein it was stated that a grant of Rupees 5 lakhs would be awarded to a group from each district as part of the Atmarnirbhar Nagaland initiative is truly appreciable and noble. In these times of pandemic and uncertainty where the whole world has been turned upside down and Nagaland is also very much affected, the Hon’ble Minister’s noble initiative is a positive encouragement. For the first time in a long time, we have a leader who has reached out to the people at large. We hope that this will provide a platform for Nagas to display their innovation, creativity and skills, which would go a long way in helping realize the objective of a self-reliant and self-sufficient Nagaland. I’m sure there must probably be thousands of applicants. Safe to say, the public of Nagaland are also excited to see who the winners are and what their innovations and objectives are for a self-reliant and self-sufficient Nagaland. For those that don’t make the cut, don’t be disappointed and keep going. Nagaland needs entrepreneurs and innovative people, more than ever. Once again, much gratitude to the Hon’ble Minister for his noble initiative. More power to you, sir.

God bless Nagaland
