Dimapur, October 10 (MExN): The Department of Economics of Unity College, in collaboration with Immanuel College and the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), organised a talk series on “Entrepreneurship Avenues” at the Seminar Hall of Unity College here on Saturday.
Sani Pongen, District Coordinator Officer (DCO), KVIC, Dimapur, Nagaland, was the resource person.

He also elaborated on various KVIC schemes, financial support for startups and the potential of traditional Naga crafts, bamboo products and village industries as sustainable business avenues.
Urging young people to become job creators rather than job seekers, he emphasised the importance of exploring entrepreneurship as a means of generating employment and promoting local industries.
