Tuensang, April 25 (DIPR): The Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Agricultural Technology Management Agency Tuensang conducted the interface meeting here at KVK Conference hall, Kuthur road on April 24.
Speaking at the meeting programme, Director Agriculture & SNO, ATMA Nagaland, Tekatushi Ao said that economic development should be uplifted by coordinating with the department concerned and questioned the department whether the technology is reaching to the farmers or not. He also opined that convergence is very important for the success of agricultural production. The director also said that education should be imparted to the rural farmers for profits in the agricultural sector. He also urged upon the departments to have a vision and target in order to achieve their activities. Tekatushi further called upon all to maintain team work in every aspect for betterment and progress.
Thungjamo DDA & I/c KVK and Dr. Amenla LTO & I/c ATMA also delivered introductory speeches at the programme. The overview of activities was highlighted by KVK and ATMA Tuensang. Earlier, the programme was chaired by L. Butang, DAO Tuensang while welcome address was delivered by Mishento Ghap, DHO & PD, ATMA Tuensang. Vote of thanks was proposed by Tokiho Achumi SMS, KVK.
