Dimapur, December 7 (MExN): A Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising the DIG (CID), Superintendent of Police, Peren, DCP Chümoukedima and SP Border visited Lamhainamdi on December 6, taking over both the cases registered at Jalukie Police Station and Chümoukedima PS to conduct free and fair investigation of the incident occurred November 7.
An update from the State Police on Wednesday informed that the SIT which was constituted by the Government of Nagaland and headed by IGP Range, Nagaland, Kohima visited the scene of crime at to take up necessary measures for carrying out further investigation at the State level. A regular case has already been registered at State Crime Police State, PHQ Kohima in this connection, the update stated.
