Landslide damages 5 houses in Wokha

Wokha, August 8 (MExN): Unprecedented rainfall caused a massive landslide at Lower Etsujukha Colony in Wokha town on August 6 causing damage to several houses and property.

 According to reports, at least 5 houses were damaged in the landslide. However, there were no reports of casualties and injury. The damaged houses had developed cracks on floors, walls, retaining walls, foundation, etc., and some of the houses were completely dismantled fearing loss of property and life. 

Till the filing of this report, the residents said that they were yet to inform the authorities concerned on the matter. The estimated loss caused by the landslide is not yet ascertained.
