Mon, August 31 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio inaugurated the Langto Tea Industry Sangsa, Tizit in Mon district on August 31.

In his inaugural speech, Rio appreciated the Langto Tea Industry owners for opening such a big industry privately for the upliftment of the tea growers. He expressed optimism that the industry would uplift not only the people of Tizit, but the entire Mon district.

Maintaining that Tizit has a favourable climate condition and has sufficient land and other resources, the Chief Minister advised the people of Tizit to increase their cultivation and produce quality tea.

The CM was accompanied by Minister Agriculture & Co-operation, G Kaito Aye; Minister of Transport Civil Aviation, Railway and Land Resources, Paiwang Konyak and MLAs, CL John and Yollow Konyak, a DIPR report informed.
