Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): The Lerie Colony Panchayat has summoned the first executive meeting on September 15 at 5:00 pm, at the Lerie Colony Panchayat Hall Kohima. A press note issued by Imsunok Jamir, secretary, Lerie Panchayat therefore informs all executive members, advisors GB and Tribal representatives to attend the meeting positively, and added that important pressing issues will be deliberated.
The Lerie Colony Panchayat has also announced that logo and theme competition for the colony is open to all colony members. The winners shall be awarded cash prize of Rs. 1000 and a certificate of acknowledgment. All entries may be submitted to the secretary Panchayat, G.B or President of Lerie Youth Organization latest by 12 Noon of September 20, 2011. The note further mentioned that decision of the Panchayat shall be final and the winning logo and theme shall become the Panchayat property.
The note also mentioned that a new team of Office bearers has been elected under the chairmanship of James Liezietsu for the term of 2011-2014. The new team has taken charge in a general meeting come handing over and taking over ceremony on September 9 on the Lerie Panchayat Hall. The new teams are as follows: Chairman- James Liezietsu, vice-chairman- Heishe and Vizovolie, general secretary-Imsunok Jamir, Advisors-Tsevilie Machio-o, Thepfuvilie Theunuo and R. Wati, Judiciary Board Convener- Situo Sekhose and Thenuovilie.
