LDATU appeals to edu deptt

Dimapur, August 10 (MExN): The Longleng District Adhoc Teachers’ Union (LDATU) has acclaimed the state government and the education department in particular for bringing a solution to the ongoing adhoc teacher’s issue. The retention and regularization of different categories of teachers on July 19 and 20 and declaration of suitability test 2010 result are worth mentioning, stated a press note issued by LDATU, president, Vungmei.
Meanwhile, the Union appeals the authority to look into the matters of those teachers who were given regularization but are left at abeyance. The Union further request the authority not to delay on the matter of those teachers who have undergone suitability test but are left in different categories other than passed and genuine teachers who have been in service for 5 to 10 years above and if needed call for a suitability test at the earliest.
The Union also appeals the authority to look into the service extension test at the earliest and to look into the service extension of those genuine teachers verified by DSE. “The Union expects a fair decision from the authority without leaving out a single teacher who is genuine, qualified and fit to be in the service,” stated LDATU, president, Vungmei.
