Let the Government of India choose between the NSCN IM faction or the rest of the Nagas to solve the long dragging Indo-Naga political conflict. It is up to you what kind of solution you want. Temporary piece meal solution or final and permanent solution. The world and the Nagas are watching your wisdom and statesmanship.
We believe that the Government of India is not sincere and honest to solve the issue, if you are really sincere, honest and concerned you should not have entered into a ceasefire, with a faction alone. Or if you are sincere, you should straightly and frankly tell the NSCN IM faction to go and unite with their people first and then come, instead of divide and manipulate the public to achieve their own agenda, as I have to say they have done.
We know the motive behind your ceasefire, that was, in order to sabotage The Atlanta Talk (USA) arranged by the North American Baptist Peace Fellowship to unite the Naga National Workers in 1997.
The then Government of India frantically pursued and persuaded the NSCN IM to enter ceasefire on the terms that the talk would be: unconditional, on the highest level, that is Prime Minister level and in a third country.
Later on, the NSCN IM leadership were lured into India as their honor guest and then turned the ceasefire terms from unconditional to conditional, from highest level to interlocutor level and from third country to India. Then, betrayed the NSCN IM leaders.
On the other hand, how can the world or the Nagas have confidence on the NSCN IM faction, when they are camped in the enemy capital, enjoying their hospitality as a very, very important status, enjoying the highest Z-plus category security? How can they allow themselves to be patronized by the enemy? It is themselves to be blamed.
Do not take the people for granted. You are only exposing who you are. We wish you to be realistic or the issue will remain unsolved for many more years!
