Dimapur, December 23 (MExN): Former Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) chief KV Pusa extends Christmas greetings to all saying that the occasion is to open one’s heart to the values of goodness and mercy.
In rejoicing the birth of Lord Jesus Christ, the MLA said, “let Christmas give our people the unfading light of faith, hope and love. In our challenging and realistic time, Christmas opens people’s hearts to the eternal values of goodness and mercy, encourages moral rightness and selfless serving.”
“Christmas reminds us that the values we share should far prevail over whatever differences there are among Naga people. The day symbolizes a yearning of people for peace and joy. Let us follow the teachings of Lord Jesus in our lives and work for harmony and unity in society,” the Congress MLA said in his message today. “Christ's message of love, compassion and forgiveness is a message of universal and timeless significance. His message has the power to lift the people from ignorance, violence and moral decay to a life of peace, virtue and spiritual fulfillment.”
Wishing all joyful celebrations, Pusa prayed that the light of hope and joy would shine bright. The Congress leader wishes all a wonderful Christmas and prosperity in the coming New Year and the future even more.
