Letter to the Vice Chancellor NU

While so much importance has been given to education and to the student by the parents, the caliber of NU appears to have gone short of our expectation. The NU has Okayed for the students to get admission in BA-II even when they failed in major subject but passed in all general subject.

Stark discrimination appears when students taking English as major subject are not allowed to get admission to BA-II, even if the students has got through in all general subjects. There is nothing bad when NU wants only the most brilliant student. But the situation could be understood that the authority is trying to discourage students from opting for English as major subject. This too is okay. But one thing we the parents cannot let our children repeat the same course which they have cleared up.

If justification cannot be given satisfactorily to all concerned for the alleged discrimination, what would be the next issue? Also quite contrary to our honorable and respected NU authority, the NU has not bothered to distribute/issue Registration Card to the college/student even when one full academic year has gone.

In this regard, the college authorities wherever it may be are requested to give exemption to the Registration card so that without it being issued by NU a student can not have problem to get admission.
