Dimapur, December 7 (MExN): The Lamkang Fellowship Dimapur (LFD) and the communities have celebrated its Advent Christmas on December 6 at Lamkang Haika Veen, Eralibil, Dimapur. The programme was organized in order to bring and unite all the Lamkang people living in Dimapur and other parts of Nagaland.
The Advent Christmas message was brought by LFD Pastor Dr. Thamsing Lamkang on the theme “Why Advent Christmas…?” As Advent is a time of spiritual preparations, to meet the Lord and bring the ‘Peace of God’ to all people of the world, said Pastor of the Lamkang Fellowship Dr. Thamsing Lamkang, who was also the speaker of the day. The programme was chaired by Malnong Leivon. In-vocational prayer was offered by A. Sankhil, church elder. Special number was presented from various groups. The benediction prayer was pronounced by T. Dilbung, church elder.
As part of the Advent a volleyball match was played between the women folks to entertain the people and also the invitees from other communities.
