DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 16 (MExN): Livingstone Foundation International (LFI) continued its mission of community service by organizing a civic activity to honor and support traffic police personnel in Dimapur and Chumoukedima districts on December 16.

The initiative aimed to express gratitude to traffic police officers for their dedication in ensuring smooth traffic flow under challenging and stressful conditions. This year’s community service also paid tribute to the late Karan Ghebring, a mentor at LFI who had been instrumental in launching the initiative in 2017.

Teams comprising students and mentors from LFI distributed gift hampers to approximately 200 traffic police personnel on duty in the two districts. As part of the event, students interacted with Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Dimapur, Meren Chenth (NPS), Officer-in-Charge (Traffic) Dimapur, N. Likao Odyuo, and Officer-in-Charge (Traffic) Chumoukedima, Langakhum Yim. The officials were also felicitated with tokens of gratitude from the LFI community.

During the interaction, the officers addressed the students’ questions and shared insights into daily traffic management challenges, fostering a deeper understanding of the profession among the young participants.
