Dimapur, December 5 (MExN): The Lakhuti HUmtsoe Khumshum (LHK) has condemned the alleged murder of its member Thungchibemo Humtsoe, a resident of NST Colony, Leriechazou, Kohima on November 30 by one Seketol Kiso, also a resident of NST Colony and his co-conspirators.
Stating that Humtsoe was a person with disability and would not have been a threat to anyone in any circumstance, the LHK appreciated the timely arrest of the culprit and implored the authorities to arrest the entire accomplices and award severest punishment to the perpetrators in addition to denying them bail.
The community would be monitoring the process of trial and in the event of miscarriage of justice, ‘we shall not be held responsible for future repercussions,” it added.
