Dimapur, August 17 (MExN): The Lions & Leo Club of Dimapur celebrated their annual programme of Janmashtami Mahotsav at the Club premises in Nepali Gaon, Dimapur on Saturday under the chairmanship of Sarthak Kala, Ayush Jain and Akash Minda.
President Sanjay Jaiswal said that the celebration began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a fancy dress competition divided into two categories of (0–6 years) and (7–12 years), with a total participation of 117 children.
The programme’s judges, Rosy Malik and Rishav Poddar, announced three winners from each category along with a special Judges’ Choice award.
President Vishal Pareek informed that for the Matki Phod competition, there were six teams with 30 members each, where Team Bihari Yuva Manch emerged as the winner. The event was witnessed by a huge gathering, he added.
