Dimapur, March 27 (MExN): As part of the One District One Activity – “Care For Her” initiative, the Lions Club of Dimapur Elite organised an awareness programme on financial literacy and entrepreneurship at Pranab College on March 27.
The session, titled “Work & Wealth: Building Financial Independence,” aimed to promote financial awareness and entrepreneurial thinking, particularly among young women. More than 200 students, teachers, club members, and members of the college management attended the programme.
The session was conducted by Nischay Jain, Co-Founder and Director of Addwell Wealth, along with Lion Komal Jain, Associate Partner of Addwell Wealth, Nagaland. They shared insights on financial planning, wealth creation, and entrepreneurship during the programme.
The event was attended by the Principal, Vice Principal, and the IQAC Coordinator of the college.
The session covered key aspects of managing personal finances with discipline and confidence, understanding the basics of saving and investments, exploring entrepreneurship opportunities, and building long-term financial independence.
An interactive segment was also held, where participants engaged with the speakers and sought clarity on financial concepts.
Organised under the leadership of President Lion Meena Sethi and Project Chairperson Lion Maya Jain, the programme benefitted over 200 participants.
