Zunheboto, July 15 (MExN): Lizu Old village under Zunheboto has been fully vaccinated with first dose COVID-19 vaccination. The COVID-19 vaccination drives were conducted on April 13, June 4, 6, 27 and July 11.
“It was one of the resistant village but with constant effort of the medical team, the village GBs and elders came forward with a determination to vaccinate all its eligible citizens with the COVID-19 vaccine to make the village 100% vaccinated,” Shekho Sophie, District Media Officer, CMO office, Zunheboto said in a press release.
Accordingly, a team of medical staffs led by Hekuto, AMO, NVBDCP visited the village again on July 11 and vaccinated the remaining 18 members in the presence of Village Council Chairman and GBs of Lizu Old Village. A total 101 beneficiaries were vaccinated.
