LLRPO issues rejoinder to news item

With anguish, we seek to draw the attention of the people who matters with the news item published in the Imphal Free Press dated 15.02.2016 in regard with the Feb. 13, 2016 LLRPO (Lotha Lower Range Public Organization) meeting at Bhandari.

Clarification had been made by this office dated 17.02.2016 through the Imphal Free Press to clear the misleading news. However, misunderstanding still continues in a larger scale which is confusing us.

The office of LLRPO is utterly shocked to know persons who attended the meeting for interpreting at their will what actually didn't happen in the LLRPO meeting on 13.02.2016.

Therefore, it is our earnest appeal to one and all to take cognizance of the facts before any statement is made with regard to the meeting of LLRPO.

 1. News item which appeared in the leading local news papers dated 05.03.2016 was a fabricated interpretation to create mistrust and confusion among us. Any matter pertaining to the affairs of LLRPO has to be routed through this office.

2. The office of LLRPO had not invited any members from the Press Fraternity either from Manipur or Nagaland in the meeting on 13.02.2016 or authorized anyone to go for publication. Hence, any news is a creation of an unknown agency to tarnish and defame LLRPO.

3 Unfounded statements of the persons who attended the meeting shall be held responsible for the mess and creating chaos amongst the community. This is an act of treachery and shall be accountable to the range.

4. Misleading news and messages regarding LLRPO meeting of 13.02.2016 bears no validity and hence one should refrain and denounce it.

We are hopeful that the reality surfaced will help us clear the misunderstanding among us for the better cause of all.
