Department of Tourism condoles

Dimapur, July 17 (MExN): The Director and the staff of the department of Tourism, along with the members of Nagaland Tourism Association, deeply mourns the tragic and untimely demise of Kiviho Chishi, SDO Tourism who met with an accident on July 15 on his way to Dimapur. A condolence message stated, “Kiviho was a young dynamic officer and also a very good friend and mentor to all of us, and his absence will be a great setback to all his near and dear ones, both emotionally and physically. Our heart goes out to the bereaved family and pray to God to provide them solace and courage at this time of despair and sorrow. We also pray for the departed soul to rest in peace.”

Directorate of School Edu informs

Dimapur, July 17 (MExN): All the DIS’s are informed to collect the DVC final report duly approved by the Cabinet/Department of School Education from the Directorate of School Education from July 18, 2011 onwards from the legal section. This was informed in a press note issued by N.Khevito Sema, director, Directorate of School Education.

Kma Kids for Fame audition today

Kohima, July 17 (MExN): Kids for Fame 2011 Kohima audition will take place on July 18 starting 2:00 pm at Seasons Café, CK Arcade, 4th floor, opposite Taxi stand. The Kohima district partner Synergy Group Enterprise (SGE) informed that interested kids can join the Kohima Audition, the registration fee is Rs.500 and still on.  The Kohima audition will cover Kohima and Wokha districts. The popular vocal contest for children was initiated in 2007 by Pheto Music Associations and has gained it popularity during the last two seasons (2007 and 2009).

CYF congratulates Chekrovolu

Kohima, July 17 (MExN): The Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) congratulated Chekrovolu Swuro for securing Silver Medal in the World Archery Championship held at Turin, Italy. She has yet added another feather on her cap with her achievement and made the Chakhesangs and the Nagas proud, said CYF president Zhopayi Nakhro. “A person from humble beginning but her achievement is light years away from her origin. Her hard work combined with grit and determination has made her realized her dream. Your achievement is a reminder that nothing can deter a youth from achieving his/her dream with hard work, dedication and commitment,” Nakro said and wishes her the very best in the days to come and “may you continue to be a living example and inspiration to our youths.”
