 “Red Carpet” members meeting

The members of the “Red Carpet” of Nagaland are informed that a meeting was held on January 8, 2011 in Mumbai and in connection to this another meeting had been called a meeting on January 18 at 3:00 pm at the residence of the Convenor, Adhoc Committee, Dr. Kethoni situated at Lengrijan near Lima Aier Memorial School, Dimapur. AR organises dental & medical camp

Dimapur, January 15 (MExN): 
The 7 Assam Rifles and 20 Assam Rifles of 5 Sector Assam Rifles under IGAR (N) had organised Dental cum Medical Camp at  Ziphu Village in Phek District and Heningkunglwa in Peren District on January 10, 11 and 12 respectively.  Approx 1000 villagers were benefitted from these camps. The village elders and representatives of civil administration appreciated the initiative of Assam Rifles and expressed deep gratitude for the same, stated a press release issued by Lt Col RP Velu, PRO, IGAR (N).

DC Wokha informs on Census Phase II

Dimapur, January 15 (MExN):
All enumerators, supervisors and master trainers of Wokha district are informed that training for Census Phase II (Population Enumeration) will be held from January 18 to 20 in various places in the district. The training will commence at the respective centres at 10:30 am. The enumerators and supervisors of Wokha Town, Wokhs Sadar, Chikutong, Englan and Wozhuro will have their training in Wokha Town; for Bhandari, Changpang and Baghty charges shall be trained at Bhandari Town; Aitepyong, Sanis and Lotsu at Sanis Town and Ralan and Sungro at Ralan and Sungro respectively.  The DC & Principal Census Officer, Wokha in a press release has also directed all enumerators of Special Charges to attend their training at Wokha Town.

Pentecostal Church Dimapur informs

Dimapur, January 15 (MExN):
The Annual Centre Convention and Divine Healing Services of the Pentecostal Church, Dimapur will be held from January 20 to 23 at TPM Convention Ground, Near ISBT, Purana Bazar, Dimapur. There will be also Bible study, devotional service and tarrying meeting and all are invited to the convention.

PTMA appeals for due justice

Dimapur, January 15 (MExN):
The Pfutsero Town Mothers Association (PTMA) has expressed deep resentment over the alleged rape of a young girl on January 3, 2011 at Kikruma Village. The rapist Tsahuyo Thira, allegedly a former Naga Wrestling champion had damaged the good image of the sportsmen and his shameful acts committed on the innocent girl came like “a spear piercing through the heart of all mothers in the community.” PTMA, President Kereweü Pradieh, and general secretary Wekoteü Mero in a press release has appealed to the authority to deliver due justice to the victim and the women in general and also demand immediate arrest of the culprit and bring him to book as per the law of the land.
