ANTA Kohima unit informs
Kohima, July 25 (MExN): In compliance with the government order No. DEF/KMA/TRF-2/2011/1895, the All Nagaland Taxi Association, Kohima unit directed all local taxis within Kohima town to select their authorize parking area in the town which will be in alphabetical order, from BOC side to New Secretariat. The ANTA, Kohima unit in this connection informed all the local taxi owners and drivers to submit their choice of parking in written to the ANTA office during the office hour on or before July 30.

Mokokchung, July 25 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Lithrongla G. Chishi has directed all Head of Offices in the district to submit brief write up on respective departmental activities (Electronic copy) to her latest by August 5, 2011. She said, write up on departmental activities is required as the District Administration is to bring out the department profile with the Annual Plan of Local Area Development Programme (LADP) 2011-12. The write up may include Annual work programme 2010-11 achievement and proposal for 2011-12. She said this is required to avoid duplication and overlapping of programme and schemes.
Shifting of fire station
Mokokchung, July 25 (DIPR): The fire station which was earlier located near Mokokchung Town Hall has been shifted to New Fire Station at Sungkomen ward, near BOC, Mokokchung Town. S. Alem Ao, Inspector, Officer In-charge, Fire Station Mokokchung said shifting of Office was completed today i.e, the 25th July 2011.
Tsüngremmong at Khensa Village
Dimapur, July 25 (MExN): Khensa Village under Mokokchung district will be celebrating Tsüngremmong festival on August 1, 2011 at ‘Imrongtenem’ from 10:00 am with Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio as the chief guest. Home Minister Imkong L Imchen will also deliver a short speech. Invocation will be said by Rev K Temjen Longchar, Pastor, KBA; welcome address by Tekameren, Chairman, Khensa Village Council while there will be also traditional display and Tsüngremmong salutation. The Khensa Village Council and the Organising Committee has extended invitation to Khensa villagers and in-laws to be a part of this grant celebration.

Measles catch-up campaign meeting held
Mon, July 25 (DIPR): Co-ordination meeting on Measles Catch-up Campaign (SIA-II) was held at Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall, Mon on July 22. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Mon, Dinesh Kumar (IAS). Measles Catch - Up Campaign (SIA-II), will be held in Mon District from 12th to 30th September 2011 as per the guidelines of MoHFW Government of India, New Delhi. The Campaign is targeted for children at age group between 10 months to 10 years. At the meeting, Dr. S. Mukherjee, DIO, Mon briefly highlighted the objectives and programmes of measles Campaign. Since this project will be the first of its kind, he called upon all the concerned departments to co-operate and extend their full co-operation towards the Campaign. Trainings and awareness Campaigns will play the most crucial part in SIA-II project added, Dr. Mukherjee.
