Mokokchung, July 27 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Lithrongla G. Chishi has informed all Heads of Departments to forward deserving gazette officers/non gazette officials from their concern departments for examination and consideration by the District Level Committee to be awarded on August 15. The recommendation, if any, should be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office on or before July 30. The under mentioned criteria are to be observed while forwarding. Citations/ Recommendations by the Head of Department for non- gazette officials, Notable performance and contributions to the Department by the individual be recommended (not just being regular in office). Recommendations received after July 30 will be summarily rejected.
AUMEN emergency meeting
Kohima, July 27 (MExN): Association of Unemployed Mechanical Engineers Nagaland (AUMEN) convened emergency meeting on 30th July ay 11.00 at NSF Conference Hall. Association general Secretary, AUMEN, Viketou has requested all the mechanical engineer graduates to attend its emergency meeting without fail. Sensitization cum interactive on RTI held.
Yongshei village welcome gate inaugurated
Longleng, July 27 (DIPR): Project Director DRDA Longleng, Imnukshila Jamir inaugurated Yongshei village welcome gate and Marketing Shed on 21st July 2011, at Yongshei village, Tamlu sub-division under Longleng district. Earlier on the same day, Block Development Officer Tamlu, Atang Longkumer also inaugurated Yangshei village Community Bus Service funded under Yongshei Village Development Board Fund. Church leaders, NGOs, students’ bodies and the general public attended the function.
KSUK Tsüngremmong raffle draw
Kohima, July 27 (MExN): The Khensa Senso Union, Kohima “Tsüngremmong raffle draw” which was scheduled to be held on August 2, 2011 has been postponed to August 3, 2011 due to the “Tsüngremmong Celebration” in Khensa Village. The Khensa Senso Union, Kohima in a press release has informed that the draw will be held at 10: 00 am in the treasurer’s residence.
NRPF half yearly meeting
Kohima, July 27 (MExN): The Northern Rengma Prayer Fellowship (NRPF) half yearly meeting shall be held on 31st July at NRPF Office Chinlikha at 12.00 noon. Er. Nimo Kath, Assistant general Secretary NRPF in a press release has requested all the office bearers, pastors along with three delagates and well wishers to attend the meeting positively and also to pray for the success of the programme.

NSC, seminar on “Atrocities against women
Kohima, July 27 (MExN): Nagaland State Commission for Women & Department of Women Development, Nagaland organized state level seminar on “Atrocities against women” on 29th July at Heritage Ole DC Bungalow) Kohima at 10.30 am. Governor, Nagaland, Nikhil Kumar and Additional Chief Secretary & Commissioner Banuo Z. Jamir IAS will grace the inaugural function as the chief guest and guest of honor respectively. Neilavou Keditsu, Director Women development, Nagaland will chair the inaugural function while Narola, Women Secretary NBCC will pronounce invocation. Key note address will be delivered by Sano Vamuzo, Chairperson NSCW and Abeni TCK Member, NSCW will pronounce vote of thanks.
AAY food grains
Kohima, July 27 (MExN): The assistant director of food & civil supplies, Kohima informed all the FPS/village councils of Kohima Centre that AAY food grains for two months will be released from July 28 to 29 between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. In this connection, the concerned FPS/village councils have been directed to collect their respective quota within the stipulated period.

Kohima, July 27 (MExN): The Puliebadze Club, Jotsoma will hold its 39th foundation day on August 1 at Lovers’ Paradise at 11:00 AM. MLA. Dr. Neikiesalie Kire, chairman, KVIB and advisor Music Task Force will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Presentation of club award will also marked the foundation day.
