CSU essay competition
Dimapur, August 20 (MExN): As per the Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU), executive meeting held on July 30, 2011 at CBCK Kitsubozou, Kohima. The executive has decided to organize an essay competition on the topic “My Village My People”, for elementary and above. Kewelhilo Rabvo General Secretary in a press release stated that the concern units president are entrusted with full responsibility to arrange for the said competition before August 25 at the unit level and the concern village VDBs is requested to sponsor the Prize at the maximum rate of Rs. 1500. The units are requested to submit the sheet of 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holder to any executive on or before August 30. The CSU informed in a press release that the Union is in a process of publishing a booklet of ‘Phek Profile’, for which your participation shall be of great benefit.
Japfüphiki Chokri Dzevi Krotho formed
Kohima, August 20 (MExN): The SAPO, SASA, CAPO and CAYSA in its joint meeting held on June 8 last at Hotel Japfu, Kohima has unanimously resolved to form an organization called “Japfüphiki Chokri Dzevi Krotho. The members had re-organized a joint meeting on July 22 last at Hotel Cimorb, Kohima and selected Kekhwesül Thokhwe and Vethikhoyi Khamo as president and general secretary respectively to look after the organization with other office bearers for the tenure 2011-2014.
Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu informs
Kohima, August 20 (MExN): The Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu informed all Discollegiate (DC) candidates of Odd semester under Khelhoshe Polytechnic, Atoizu that minimum attendance of 70% will be required for appearing examinations on such papers. In this connection, all such candidates have been directed to take admission on or before August 26. No case of admission shall be entertained thereafter nor will be allowed to appear for examinations, a notification received here said today.
Kohima DEO informs
Kohima, August 20 (MExN): The District Education Officer, Kohima informed all the principals/ headmasters of private higher secondary schools/high schools under the jurisdiction of DEO Kohima to submit the teachers bio- data along with students enrollment (sex-wise) to DEO Kohima on or before September 10 without. This was stated in a release issued by Kohima DEO Zaveyi Nyekha.
Rotaract Club Kohima installation ceremony
Kohima, August 20 (MExN): The Rotaract Club Kohima RI District 3240 will be holding its Ist installation & induction ceremony on August 22 at 6:00 PM at The Heritage, Old DC Bungalow, Kohima. President elect Rtr. Thejakielie Zuyie will be installed by Rtn. Kezhokhoto Savi, president Rotary Club Kohima and the new board of directors for 2011-2012 will be installed by Rotaract Committee chairman Rtn. Dr. Kezevituo Keditsu. Zakie Kire, secretary, Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch will grace the ceremony as the chief guest. The ceremony will be followed by dinner and special music by the Rotarian and rotaractor.
