Committee of Public Accounts meeting
Dimapur, August 29 (MExN): The committee of Public Accounts, Nagaland Legislative Assembly will meet on September 6 at Assembly Committee Room at 11:00am for adoption of its reports. All the concerned members of the committee on Public Accounts are requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting. This was stated in a press release issued by NLA secretary A. E LOtha.
CSUK dinner cum discussion
KOHIM, August 29 (MExN): The Chakhesang Students Union Kohima has invited all the former presidents of CSUK for dinner on September 1, 2011 (Thursday) at Hotel Japfü Kohima at 4:00 PM with the view to hold discussion on the forthcoming Golden Jubilee of the Chakhesang Students Union Kohima. Dept Audit & Accounts Committee formed
Kohima, August 29 (DIPR): The Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Nagaland L. Kire IFS has in a notification said that the Government of Nagaland has constituted Departmental Audit and Accounts Committee comprising of the following members/officials to review/disposal of Audit Para on monthly basis with immediate effect. The members are Commissioner & Secretary (Power) as Chairman and other members include Chief Engineer (Power), Additional Chief Engineer (Power), DDO of C.E. Office (Power) and Sr. Accountant Officer (Power).
One resigns from Peren District Education Board
Dimapur, August 29 (MExN): Bewef Gonmei, VEC, Chairman of new Jalukie has resigned from the post of general secretary, Peren District Education Board. A press note issued by Bewef Gonmei, chairman VEC, New Jalukie Village (N) stated that the reason was ‘the organization functioning system has gone against the government policy, against the interest of the people of the district and encouraging back-door appointment in the education setup sector’.
