2 days state level research seminar
Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): The Indigenous Cultural Society Nagaland and North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC) Dimapur is jointly organizing 2 days state level research seminar on ‘Naga traditional and cultural customary’ on September 23 and 24 at Indigenous Cultural Society centre, 2nd Floor Jakhalu Building, City Tower Junction Dimapur. KKSema IAS Rtd Commissioner and Secretary Art and Culture Deptt. Govt of Nagaland is consented to grace the inaugural function of the seminar.
ANTA Kohima Unit warns
Kohima, September 10 (MExN): The All Nagaland Taxi Association, Kohima Unit has issued an order that despite of ANTA order and also repeated warnings, some owners/drivers of Taxis are being reported to have been intoxicated while carrying passenger appearing the life of the passengers more dangerous, thereby brings disgrace to the association. A press note issued by its president Vivor Miachieo and action committee Convener, Menuovilie Suohu stated that if any owners/drivers are found on an inebriated state while carrying passengers shall be strictly dealt with and will be punished with a fine and suspend from driving taxis for a period of one to six months and the association will expel the owners/drivers from the association permanently and will not allow driving taxis in the state.
Cooperative Officers training on Sept 12
Dimapur, September 10 (DIPR): A one-day training programme for Cooperative Officers on Audit, Inspection and Book-Keeping of Cooperative Societies will be conducted at Cooperative Training Centre Medzhiphema on September 12. Commissioner & secretary Cooperation B.P Chetri will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Principal, Cooperative Training Centre, Medziphema, Temjenlemla, has informed all Department officers to attend the programme positively.
DNSU joint meeting on Sept 13
Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): The tribunal of Dimapur Naga students’ Union (DNSU) has convened a joint meeting with senior leaders and former leaders of consultant units of DNSU on September 13 at 5:30 pm at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur. Therefore, all concerned are requested to attend the meeting positively for constructive suggestion and contribution for the interest of the student community.
Employed Tenyimia members informed
Zunheboto, September 10 (DIPR): Tenyimia Union Church, D.C hill Zunheboto has informed all employed Tenyimia members who are posted at Zunheboto to contribute one-day wages for the construction of new Guesthouse at Zunheboto. As per emergency meeting resolution held on 14th Aug’2011 at the Tenyimia Union Church Building, Zunheboto, members were also informed to pay /their membership and registration fee of Rs. 10/- and Rs. 200/-
KDTTA day- cum- election Sept 17
Kohima, September 10 (MExN): The Kohima District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) will hold ‘KDTTA day cum election’ on September 17 at 11:00 AM at the Indoor Stadium, Kohima. In this connection, all KDTTA members have been requested to attend the same. This was stated in a release issued by KDTTA public relation secretary Ketho.

Zunheboto, September 10 (DIPR): Nagaland State Commission for Women & National Commission for Women, New Delhi will be jointly organising a legal awareness programme at Town Hall Zunheboto on September 14 at 9 a.m. Therefore all the heads of department under Zunheboto district is informed to attend the said programme without fail.
NSWON mourns
Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): The National Socialist Women Organization of Nagalim (NSWON) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of two of its member Ningshiwon Kashung of Kachai village, Ukhrul district and Ngamreiphi Shimray of Poi village, Ukhrul district. Both of them died after prolong illness. NSWON Secretary in a condolence message prayed for comfort and strength to the bereaved family members.
