Inauguration of EAC Namsang Office and GHS building
Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): The inauguration of EAC Namsang Office building cum EAC quarter and GHS building Namsang at Kongshong compound is scheduled on September 24, 10:30 am. P Dako Phom, parliamentary secretary for Transport & Communication and Mechanical Engineering Nagaland will grace the inauguration programme as chief guest. Heads of offices in Longleng and also Public leaders are cordially invited and requested to attend the programme positively, informed a press note.
Peren district BLO’s informed
Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): All BLOs under 6-Tening and 7-Peren A/C’s of Peren district are hereby directed to submit the working copy of verified photo E/roll alongwith report of verification committee to the office of the additional deputy commissioner, Peren on or before September 20, 2011. A press note issued by Lungheising, ADC stated that this is in connection with ongoing door to door verification of electors without fail for further updating in the database for subsequent publication of the Draft photo E/roll within the Election Commission of India (ECI) scheduled time. The note also directed Area Administrative and supervisory officers to make sure follow up action taken by forwarding the same for those polling stations who has completed, even in piecemeal for onward submission to CEO Nagaland.
SESU elects new executive members
Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): The SETAM Engineering Students’ Council (SESU) has elected a new team of executives for the year 2011-12 after a voting session which was held on September 10, 2011 within the campus premises. A press note issued by Sumit Paul, information secretary (SESU) sated that Tochumong was elected president, Manpong Konyak as general secretary and Pursenla Pongen as women’s coordinator.
