Entries for essay, painting competition extended
Kohima, September 25 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) informed all schools, colleges and university that the last date for submission of entries for competition on essay, slogan and painting on the theme “Clean Kohima” on the aspect of Kohima has been extended to September 26. This was stated in a release issued by KMC chief executive officer Elizabeth Ngully.
Nagaland philatelic exhibition today
Kohima, September 25 (MExN): The Nagaland postal division is organizing a two day long Nagaland philatelic exhibition 2011, commencing from September 26 at Baptist High, Kohima. The inaugural function will start from 11:00 am onwards with Nini Meru, chairman Nagaland Board of School Education as the chief guest. Welcome address will be delivered by K. Kevichusa, director, postal services, Nagaland. Workshop on philately will take place from 1:00 pm onwards with Laban Serto, Shillong and Rajamani, Imphal as resource persons.
