Kohima, September 28 (MExN): The Administrative training institute (ATI), government of Nagaland organizes Mid-career Interaction between civil services officers and Armed Forces on “Human trafficking”, in North Eastern States sponsored by DoPT, Government of India on September 29 at 11.00 am at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. Home Commissioner, Government of Nagaland Jane Alam will grace the inaugural function as the chief guest.
DC Wokha informs
Wokha, September 28 (DIPR): The Deputy Commissioner Wokha has informed all concerned that there will be a meeting on final instruction and implementation of the 13th Finance Commission Award (TSC) on September 29 at 11 a.m. at the DC’s Conference Hall, Wokha. Therefore all Administrative Officers and the Village Council Chairman who have already opened joint account for this purpose are informed to attend the meeting without fail.
Revision of Electoral Rolls training
Kohima, September 28 (DIPR): All Administrative Officers/Supervisory Officers and Booth Level Officer are informed to attend a training/orientation class for the forthcoming Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls 2012. The training will be held at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall Kohima on September 30 from 10:30 a.m. Hence all Booth Level Officers are directed to attend the said training.
AHoDs and HoDs meeting on Sept 30
Kohima, September 28 (DIPR): There will be a meeting of all Administrative Heads of Department and Heads of Department on September 30 at 1:00 p.m. in the Secretariat Conference Hall. In the meeting the following agenda will be discussed: Implementation of NRE scheme and State share thereof – Planning Department etc. Home Commissioner to the Government of Nagaland has therefore requested all AHoDs and HoDs to attend the meeting.
CSU to observe Black Day—Oct 3
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 28 (MExN): The Chakhesang Students’ Union will be observing 4th Black Day on 3rd Oct 2011 at Kikru Town , Phek, in memory of late Achikho Puro former Games & Sports Secretary,CSU who was shot death along with others on 3rd Oct 2007 at AG colony Kohima by a combine force of FGN (Non-Acordist) & NSCN(K). In a press release Kewelhilo Rabvo General Secretary has asked all the concern units to observe Black Day on the said date. The unit presidents are entrusted with full responsible to coordinate with schools and colleges, no separate information will be served.
ENSUD calls meeting on Sept 30
Dimapur, September 28 (MExN): Eastern Naga Students’ Union Dimapur (ENSUD) has convened an emergency general meeting with the eastern Naga students of Dimapur from all the secular, theological and Hindi colleges including NU-SASARD and SETAM, paramedical institutes and other private institute with 3 (three) representatives each on September 30 at Holy Cross Hr. KMC on sanitation tax
Kohima, September 28 (MExN): In exercise of chapter-111, section-150 (sanitation tax) of the Nagaland Municipal Act 2001, and as per the resolution of the wards meeting vide No KMC/ACM-01/2011/8474 dated Kohima, 18th June 2011, the Kohima Municipal council authorize the collection of the sanitation fee of Rupee 1 per day per kitchen, ie. Rs 30 & 31/- per month in all the wards under KMC with effect from 1 October 2011. An order issued by Chief Executive Officer Elizabeth Ngully stated that panchayats of all the wards are directed to form a sanitation committee and submit a copy to KMC office at the earliest.
UESI inauguration on October 1
Kohima, September 28 (MExN): The inauguration ceremony of Union of Evangelical Students of India-Nagaland (UESI-Nagaland) as a decentralized state unit will be held on October 1, at 11.00 am at Jubilee memorial centre, Lerie Colony Kohima. J.S.A Julius, president of Nagaland UESI will inaugurate the launching of UESI Nagaland.
ANPSTA new executive elected
Kohima, September 28 (MExN): The All Nagaland pre service teachers Association (ANPSTA) held an emergency meeting at NSF conference hall on September 2. The house formed an executive body comprising of two members’ from each unit. Alitoli Chophy and Leapy Tungoe were elected as the executive convener and assistant general secretary respectively.
BLOs meeting on Oct 3
Mokokchung, September 28 (DIPR): Training of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for summary revision of Electoral Rolls in Mokokchung will be conducted at town Hall, Mokokchung on October 3. Training will start from 11:00 a.m onward. All relevant documents/materials will also be distributed to the BLOs on the same day after the training. ADC & ERO, Mokokchung Y. Denngan Avennoho Phom informed all Administrative officers/Supervisory officers in the district to instruct BLOs under their jurisdiction to attend the training without fail.
