NEZCC to showcase culture of Meghalaya
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 30 (MExN): The North East Zone Cultural Centre, is organizing a Cultural Programme of Meghalaya on October 1 at the Auditorium from 6:00 p.m. Artistes from Khasi Jaintia and Garo tribes will perform different Folk dances of Meghalaya. Kohima, September 30 (DIPR): The Government of Nagaland Advertisement Policy and Rules 1985 had been notified on October 15, 1985. The Rules were published in the Nagaland Gazette by order of the Governor. Therefore, the rules contained in eleven clauses, came into effect and is enforced as the policy and rules, applicable to all State Government Departments/State Undertakings/and State statutory bodies, under the Government of Nagaland. Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): Nagaland Senior Citizens’ Forum congratulates all senior citizens and the elderly who have attained sixty years and above. Senior citizens are preparing to observe the International Elders’ Day on October 1. “Senior citizens, elders are considered highly valued and golden age for their moral value and their experienced inputs contributed to the younger generation and the society,” a message from the forum said today. Elders spearhead the decision-making process in churches, in the political arena and ‘socio-economic programs,’ the forum explained.The forum wished all seniors good health and .long life even more.
ANPETA informs
Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): As directed by department of School Education, the All Nagaland Physical Education Teachers Association (ANPETA) has informed all its members to submit their bio-data to their respective controlling officers at the earliest. The required documents are appointment order, regularization order, educational qualification and training certificate. ANPETA in a press release has requested all its unit office bearers to collect the same and submit it during the training session. Further, the Association has informed that there will be one day training on HIV and tobacco control on October 7 at Teacher’s Rest House Kohima from 9:00 am onwards. All the selected PETs are informed to attend the training without fail.

It is therefore, informed to all members to note the change of date and to make it convenient to attend the meeting without fail.
RIMS Imphal offers 5 seats
Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): College of Nursing, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal, has offered 5(five) seats for B. Sc Nursing, for 2011-2012 session. The actual admission and commencement of session will be subject to grant of clearance/ approval by the Indian nursing Council (INC). It is also informed that the date of admission and commencement of session will be intimated later on. Therefore, in anticipation of the above, application are invited for filling 5 (five) seats in B. Sc. Nursing in RIMS, Imphal, from candidates who have appeared Nagaland JEE, 2011 in PCB, on or before October 7. Selection will be on the basis of JEE, 2011 merit. World Habitat Day on October 3
Kohima, September 30 (DIPR): World Habitat Day will be observed on October 3 at State Academy Hall Kohima, from 9 a.m. onwards. Minister for Urban Development and Higher & Technical Education, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu will grace the occasion as the chief guest. The programme will include prize distribution for essay writing, painting and slogan writing, special songs and short speeches on climate change by various topic experts. Secretary Urban development Department Neihu C. Thur IAS will chair the programme. A rally to mark the World Habitat Day will be flagged off by Chairman NKVIB, Dr. Nicky Kire at 7:30 a.m. from Phool Bari to State Academy Hall.
