ANFSA notified

Kohima, October 13 (MExN): 
The All Nagaland Field Staff Association (ANFSA) PHED Kohima unit president Banuo Angami and general secretary A. Temjenla Jamir has notified all the work charged employees working 16 years and above under PHED Kohima unit are for a mass general meeting to be held on 19 October at 10 am at Raj Bhavan.

CSU executive meeting on Oct 14

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN):
The CAKU (Chakhro Angami Kuda Union) will hold an executive meeting on October 14, 2011 at 3.30 pm in the office of CAKU, at Phevima to discuss various pertinent agenda. A press note issued by ZV Angami, general secretary, CAKU directed all the executive members, advisors to attend the same without fail.

IRCSWD reaches out

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN):
The Indian Red Cross Society Wokha branch (IRCSWD) extended financial help to late Shanthungo Lotha and late John Lotha, both from Humtso Village who died in a vehicle accident on October 10, 2011 at Humtso village. A sum of Rs 1000 each was given. This was informed in a press note issued by P.M Ezung, hony, secretary, IRCSWD branch.

B.Ed Training for session 2012

Kohima, October 13 (MExN):
The District Education Officer Rheituolie Metha informed to all the SDEO/Principal/Headmaster of GHSS/GHS under the District Education Officer, Kohima to forward the deserving candidates who have secured 45% and above in BA, MA and completed 3 years of continuous service as graduate teacher for undergoing B.Ed Training for the session 2012. It also informed that application forms can be obtained from the district Education Officer, Kohima during office hour and the last date of application submission to the undersigned is on 11 November 2011.

Phenshunyu-Phiro Peace Treaty Committee meeting

Kohima, October 13 (MExN):
The Phenshunyu-Phiro peace Treaty Committee members will have a meeting at the Rengma Sector Church Bayavü Kohima on 15 October at 10 am. This has been notified by Secretary K.Peter Himb and requested all the members to attend the meeting without fail.

KCSU 4th union Assembly

Kohima, October 13 (MExN):
The Kohima Chakhesang Students’ union (KCSU) will held its 4th Union Assembly on 15 October at LCS building at 10.30 am. While informing the units to sent two representatives, its deputy speaker Yievekho Rüho also informed that any units failing to attend the assembly shall be abstained from voting

Kohima DPDB on Oct 18

Kohima, October 13 (DIPR):
All the members of the Kohima District Planning & Development Board has been informed that the DPDB meeting for the month of October 2011 will be held on  October 18 at 12:30 p.m. at DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima. All members have been requested to note and attend the meeting positively.

New DYC Mkg president appointed

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN):
As approved by the Indian Youth Congress, the president of Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress has appointed S. Sanen Imchen as the president of District Youth Congress (DYC) Mokokchung from October 8, 2011. “He is directed to assume the office and carry out the activities of Youth Congress with immediate effect”, stated a press note issued by Kuputo Shohe, president NPYC. Meanwhile Officiating President of DYC Mokokchung Toshiakum Jamir, general secretary NPYC has been released from the assigned post and will no longer obtain as Officiating President of DYC Mokokchung.

NSEAOA conference on Oct 21

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN):
The 10th general conference of Nagaland School Education Administrative Officers’ Association (NSEAOA) is scheduled to be held on October 21, 2011 at 10:00 am in the Zonal Council Hall (Old Assembly Secretariat) Kohima. A press note issued by Zaputuo, president of Nagaland School Education Administrative Officers’ Association directed all the members of the association to attend the conference.

Advocacy on HIV/AIDS with hoteliers

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 13 (MExN):
The Kohima Hotels and Restaurants Union, Nagaland Tourism Association and Kekhrie Foundation is organizing a One day Advocacy on HIV and AIDS with Hoteliers of Kohima with support from Nagaland State AIDS Control Society on 15th October 2011 (Saturday) at Conclave Hall, LCS Building near Ao Church, Kohima at 11:00am. All owners and managers of hotels in Kohima are requested to consider this program important and attend. This was informed in a press note from Bazo Kire Director of Kekhrie Foundation.
