PSA consultative meeting on October 22
Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): The Golden Jubilee Committee(s) second consultative meeting of Phek Sports Association (PSA) will be convened on October 22 at the PSA Rostrum at 10.00.AM. In the press release issued by PSA President, Muramo S.Venuh, all the members were strictly informed to attend the meeting as there would be deliberation of many agendas. In a separate statement, the Finance Committee Convenor had asked the entire Committee(s) and Sub-Committee(s) Convenors to submit their budget during the second meeting. Thus, all the members of various Committee(s) and Sub-Committee(s) were instructed to attend the meeting without fail.
Kohima UGT candidates 2003 informed
Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): All the Kohima district UGT candidates 2003 who have submitted their original admit card to the Directorate School Education are informed to contact at 9436015789 or 8974784055 on or before October 23. ANSTHGA meeting on October 25
Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): The ANSTGA has informed all the office bearers and executive members to attend the meeting on October 25 at 10:00 am at head office, 2 ½ mile, Dimapur. All the district tea planters/farmers/growers/beneficiaries of 10 and 11 five year plan are requested to send representatives to attend the meeting. While informing this in a press release, ANSTGA president D. Hukiye Kibami said that the meeting is convened to discuss the issue of pending High Court case WPC No. 155 (K)/2011 filed by ANSTGA against tea board for grant of tea plantation subsidy. All district representatives are requested to bring along the list of beneficiaries, planters, growers, farmers as the same is demanded by the tea board for further course of action.

Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): The Dimapur District Garage Welfare Trade Union (DDGWTU) has convened an emergency meeting on October 22 at 10:00 A.M. at its Registered Office, Purana Bazar, Dimapur. Therefore, all the Garage Owners are requested to attend the meeting without fail. This was informed in a press release issued by DDGWTU General Secretary Piketo Zhimo.

30 stalls at National Handloom Expo
Dimapur, October 21 (DIPR): Department of Industries & Commerce Government of Nagaland is organizing National Handloom Expo 2011 at Super Market Complex Dimapur on October 21. The Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, N. Hushili Sema IAS inaugurated the National Handloom Expo 2011 consisting of 30 stalls put up by different societies and SHGs on October 21. The DC while inaugurating the stalls appreciated the participation of the various societies and encouraged them especially the weavers and craft man to improve their production and productivity of Handloom and Handicraft so as to enhance employment opportunities and also to improve livelihood and bring prosperity to the North Eastern Region.

IRCS Dimapur aids fire victims
Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): IRCS Dimapur visited Master Colony at Nagarjan on October 21 and distributed 180 mosquito nets for the fire victims. Executive Members of IRCS Dimapur KK Paul, Ajay Sethi and Kuldeep Jain were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Kuldeep requested the people present to take care of three basic precautions i.e. To keep their stoves away from the walls, to properly in capsulate any wire joints and if possible, to maintain a gap of at least four feet between their houses. This was stated in a press release issued by PRO IRCS Dimapur Ajay Sethi.

Police Commemoration Day observed
Phek, October 21 (DIPR): Phek district and 5th NAP Battalion, Phek jointly observed Police Commemoration Day on October 21 at 5th NAP Battalion Headquarter along with their counterpart Police force of the country. In the solemn function, Phek Sr. Superintendent of Police Vika Sumi read out the name of the police personnel of the country who had made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty during the 1(one) year and said that, they are the supreme and the heroic of the nation for which the day had been observed in remembrance to them. He also paid tribute to the departed comrades. All the ranking officers, PTC Chief Advisor & Members and uniform personnel also paid a tribute to the departed soul.
