Cancer awareness prog on Nov 19

Dimapur, November 17 (MExN):
Rotary club of Dimapur in association with department of health & family welfare and population based cancer registry, Nagaland has organised a cancer awareness programme on November 19 at conference hall, Zion hospital & research centre At 11.30 am. Kuzholuzo Nienu (Azo), minister for health & family welfare has consented to grace the function as chief guest.

DKSU informs

Dimapur, November 17 (MExN):
The Dimapur Khensa Students Union (DKSU) has informed all the concerned members of the Union to submit the names of those students who have passed examination with A+ grade in class 10 and first division in Class 12, graduation and post graduation for the year 2010-11. The names of the students along with the names of the parents should be submitted before November 19, 2011 to the respective area finance members or contact at 9856542345 and 9612839706.    

NPF 6th general convention

Dimapur, November 17 (MExN):
The 6th general convention of the NPF will be held on November 23 at 11:00 am at IG Stadium Kohima. All concerned members are directed to attend the meeting without fail. This was informed by NPF president Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu.

Villages ban hunting of migratory birds

Dimapur, November 17 (MExN):
In pursuance of last year’s resolution, the village councils of Nihokhu and Hokhezhe villages in a joint meeting have resolved to enforce strict ban on trapping and hunting of migratory birds within the land of two villages. Informing this Ghosuho Zhimomi, Chairman, Nihokhu Village Council has said that strict action would be taken against those violating the standing order of the two villages.
