Tourist guides training held
Dimapur, November 19 (MExN): The Tourist Guides- both government and private- who are to assist tourists visiting the state during the forthcoming Hornbill festival in the days to come were given some briefing as well as some inputs on the culture, arts, crafts, flora and fauna, biodiversity, history of Nagaland and “Dos” and “Don’ts” of guiding. Tourism Joint Director, K.T. Thomas in a press note stated that the guides were briefed by Himato Zhimomi, IFS, Commissioner and Secretary, Art and Culture, Tourism. Others who acted as resource persons are: V. Noudi, Art Executive, Department of Art and Culture, Vengota, NEPED, and K.T. Thomas from Tourism Department. About forty guides who represent both the Government and the private sector took part in the one day training on November 16, 2011.

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 19 (MExN): One Mughavi Sema was arrested on November 19, 2011 and was forwarded to judicial custody under drugs and cosmetic Act 1940. Commissioner of Excise (NC) Nagaland Dimapur has stated in a press note that Thatang AIE seized 1180 capsules S/P and 80 tablets of Nitrasm drugs in Newfield check gate Dimapur.
