CUK Golden Jubilee on Dec 9

Kohima, December 6 (MExN):
Changki Union Kohima (CUK) will be celebrating its Golden Jubilee on December 9 at 10:00 am at Highland Park, near Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima. All the members of the Union, Ex-office bearers and In-laws are requested to attend the programme. This was informed in a press release issued by Changki Union, Kohima President Tiakaba Amer.

AGBCN 4th annual conference

Dimapur, December 6 (MExN):
AGBCN 4th annual conference will be held from January 13 to 15, 2012 at AGBCN Mission Centre Singrijan, Dimapur with the NBCC Theme of the year 2012 “One New humanity in Christ”. There will be no delegate limitation; everyone is welcome to participate, however the delegates should comprise of at least youth and women representatives each. The conference programme organizing committee has requested all the Nepali/Gorkha Baptist churches to inform the number of participants before December 31 for arrangement conveniences, and consider this press release as official invitation to all the churches under AGBCN. LCC pre-Christmas on Dec 10

Kohima, December 6 (MExN):
The Lower Chandmari Colony Kohima (LCC) will observe its pre-Christmas celebration cum prize distribution on December 10 at the Wednesday market place at 4:00 pm. The celebration will feature Christmas carol, special numbers, Christmas message, inet block prize distribution followed by light refreshment. The organizers extended invitation to all its people and well wishers to join the celebration.

PFFA Mokokchung meeting held

Mokokchung, December 5 (DIPR):
Passion Fruits Farmers Association, (PFFA) Mokokchung District had a meeting with District Horticulture Officer, (DHO) Mokokchung recently to discuss revival of passion fruits cultivation in the district with a renewed efforts through assistance from the government. During the meeting the DHO informed the Association to submit the names of interested farmers in the district for consideration. As directed by the DHO, the Association Vice President, Nungshitemjen Jamir informed all interested passion fruits farmers to submit their name/village and area to the Association on or before 31st December 2011 for onward submission to the DHO.

PGAN nomenclature changed to DCOAN

Dimapur, December 6 (MExN):
The nomenclature of Pharmaceutical Graduates Association of Nagaland (PGAN) has been changed to Drugs Control Officers’ Association of Nagaland (DCOAN). DCOAN President Tiatoshi Amer in a press note has directed that henceforth, all further correspondence may be addressed to the President or General Secretary of the Drugs Control Officer’ Association of Nagaland (DCOAN) Headquarter Kohima and not against the preceding name. YAWSD solo competition on Jan 7

Dimapur, December 6 (MExN):
The Youth Association of Wokha District (YAWSD) has organized Youth Music festival–Solo Competition in aid of free coaching for HSLC students under the theme “Oneness through Music”. A press note issued by YAWSD President, Mhonbemo N. Ngullie informed that the competition will be held on January 7 at Don Bosco Youth Centre Wokha. The prize money will be: 1st prize-5000, 2nd prize-3000, 3rd prize- 2000 along with certificates and the entry fee is Rs. 200. Yeputhomi Chronicles release on Dec 17

The editor in charge Vihuto Yeputhomi in a press release has informed all the editorial/board members, range representatives and elders to come and grace the occasion. KSU 54th general session on Dec 28

Kohima, December 6 (MExN):
The 54 general session of the Khezhakeno village students’ union (KVSU) will be held on December 28 at Zhipfhe Taza-o, Khezhakeno village under the theme “Search for new Horizon”, with Khanrinla T.Koza, additional secretary, justice & law as the chief guest. Its president Krovelhoupe Koza and general secretary Pfüche Ritse has invited all the KSU members, villagers and well wishers to attend the event.
