Nature-walk at Pulebadze Peak
Dimapur, December 16 (MExN): The Vivela Club Kohima, a pioneer club of the Gorkha community has organised general body meeting and nature-walk at Pulebadze Peak, Kohima on December 17. Vivela Club, Kohima President Bikash Lama in a press release informed that the objective of organising the programme at Pulebadze is to take the members of the club closer to nature and understand the importance of preservation of forest and environment. Apart from general body meeting, nature-walk programme will be organised especially to the junior members who has greater role in future to deeply understand the importance of preservation of forest in the context of global warming. About 100 members are expected to participate in the programme
ZSU informed
Kohima, December 16 (MExN): The Zeliangrong Students’ Union (ZSU) has notified that the road from Jalukie to new Peren (Dist HQ) is under construction and has thereby informed all heavy vehicles such as logging/timber/fanta (which is not for development works) not to ply through the said road for the convenience and betterment of the construction. The union further warned such vehicles plying through will be held responsible for any untoward incident.
Progressive Corporation informed
Kohima, December 16 (MExN): The office bearers and Executive Members of Progressive Corporation in its meeting held on December 14 has informed all permanent share-holders to renew their membership on or before January 31, 2012 failing which the said shares will be withdrawn.
