Directorate of Civil Defence office inaugural today
Dimapur, February 14 (DIPR): The inauguration of new office building of the Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards will be held at Capital complex, Kohima on February 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio will grace the inaugural function as the chief guest. In the programme, Pastor of BMC Kohima Neikhrienyu James will say the invocation, while Home Commissioner Nagaland will deliver the welcome address. Short speeches will also be made by DCG and CE. Parliamentary Secretary, Home Guards, Prison, Fire & Emergency Services, Nagaland, W. Kithan will propose the vote of thanks.

Dimapur, February 14 (DIPR): All the members of Kohima District Planning & Development Board have been reminded that the monthly meeting for the month of February will be held on February 15, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at the auditorium of Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK). All members have been asked to attend the meeting without fail.
KBVDBA memorial rest house inaugural on February 26
Kohima, February 14 (MExN): The inauguration of the silver jubilee memorial rest house of the Kohima Block VDB Association will take place on February 26 at 12:00 noon at Kithu (Peducha/Mengujuma). Parliamentary secretary for RD and SIRD Nagaland S. Pangnyu Phom will act as the chief guest and inaugurate the rest house. The function will be chaired by P. Koza, BDO Kohima. Commissioner & secretary RD V. Sakhrie will deliver short speech while Metsubo Jamir, director Rural Development will exhort the gathering. Welcome address will be delivered by Viu Belho, president Kohima Block VDB Association while vote of thanks will be proposed by Visalhou Kesiezie, chairman Mengujuma Village Council.

Kohima, February 14 (MExN): The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) has convened the Ist executive meeting on February 21, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Union office headquarter Kohima. All the unit president and secretary have been informed to attend the same positively. Any resolution pass on this meeting will be final, a release received here said today.

Dimapur, February 14 (DIPR): NCRC PR Hill Kohima prayer centre for Nagaland is organising monthly prayer meeting from February 25 to 27, 2011 with CYE Advisor Adi Sothu and Visiting Pastor Hovikrol Neikha as chairman. The main speakers will be Assistant Pastor NCRC PR Hill Kohima, Yangulie Sanchu and Vero Naga Shisha Hoho Pruzie Pastor Vezokho. Service timing will be 10:00 a.m. in the morning and 4:00 p.m. in the evening. Service will be in Nagamese and Tenyidie. Healing service will be held at 4:00 p.m.
Hostels inspection in Dimapur
Dimapur, February 14 (MExN): The District Education Officer Asono Ndang informs to all the hostels proprietors that there will be combined inspection by both administration as well as medical department. It is therefore, informed to all the proprietors of hotels to co-operate and also to put sign board for easy location. “Failing to comply with this notification, permit will be cancelled with immediate effect against the defaulters,” stated a press note.
