DMC informs
Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) in continuation to the office order even no. of Dtd. 04th August 2010, all allottee of DMC stalls of New Market, Millennium Market, Old Murgi Patty Market and Hazi Park Market, Dimapur are once again directed to submit their requisite documents pertaining to their respective stall allotment for execution of agreement/deed.
DMC Chief Executive Officer, Nikhashe Sema in an order has further asked the allottees those who have already submitted their documents to collect their respective agreement papers from the office on payment of requisite fees on or before February 28 positively. The order also added that on expiry of the stipulated period, no further claim shall be entertained and the defaulter/defaulters shall be penalised for non compliance of the order as per the DMC norms.
NVFAA general conference
Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): The 16th general body conference of the Nagaland Veterinary Field Assistants’ Association (NVFAA) was held on February 11 at Dimapur District Veterinary Office Conference hall.
NVFAA general secretary, Yahthungo Lotha in a press release said that the house decided that members who have failed to pay their dues i.e. legal fee ` 1000 special contribution ` 500 and membership fee ` 100 are requested to pay on or before March 31 or “face dire consequences.” However, the membership fee for them has been enhanced to ` 200. District office bearers are requested to list their member’s name, designation, posting place and submit to the central office latest by March 2011.
The house also elected a office berserk for the tenure 2011-2013 with president Phuheto Murumi, vice president Nosal Angami, general secretary Yanthungo Lotha, joint secretary Neikalo, finanace secretary Echungthung, treasurer, Tsudi and information asecretary Apehn.
Advocacy Campaign at Tzudikong on Feb 18
Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): The NNP+ and the Ao Students’ Union Tzudikong Town (ASUTT) with the support from Legislators Forum on HIV and AIDS will hold Advocacy Campaign on HIV and AIDS with the key stakeholders on February 18 at Tzudikong Town Community Hall, at 10:00 am.
A press note issued by NNP+ President, Chongtie Shiu informed that the campaign will be held with L. Temjen Jamir, MLA & Advisor, Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency as guest speaker on the theme “Together we can!” The key topics include HIV and AIDS a reality, Positive living, Stigma and Discrimination, discussion on the role of key stakeholders towards HIV response.
The key stakeholders from Government departments under ADC, Tuli, Defence Personnel, Tzudikong Town Adhoc Committee, Church leaders, Employee of NBPC Ltd, Tuli, Civil societies, Women Association (Watsu), Students community, Teachers, partner NGOs and media personnel are invited to participate in the event for making a positive outcome.
